## Working on now

- Operating as a local youth dance and music academy serving children roughly ages 2 through teens in North County San Diego, with ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical, music lessons, private instruction, and pre-professional/conservatory training.
- Driving enrollment through complimentary trial classes, drop-ins, and the 2026–27 school-year program rather than geographic expansion; the official site emphasizes San Marcos/Carlsbad and surrounding San Diego communities.
- Maintaining performance programming centered on Nutcracker, recitals, showcases, and music recitals; a search result for school auditions lists George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker in November 2026, but the linked details should be independently confirmed.
- Participating in local community programming: SEDMA was scheduled for a 3:30–4:00 PM performance at San Elijo Live on October 4, 2026; the event was subsequently reported canceled because of a heat wave.
