## Working on now

- Expanding renewable heat solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial markets.
- Maintaining a secure fuel supply chain for biomass CHP plants through long-term partnerships like the one with the Brüning Group.
- Focusing on high-quality pellet production (ENplus-A1, SBP-certified) from regional, sustainable wood residues.
- Supporting businesses and municipalities in transitioning to climate-friendly heat via pellet heating systems.

## Summary

REKORD Pellets is a brand of wood pellets and solid fuels produced and sold by LEAG Pellets GmbH, a subsidiary of LEAG Biomass, which is part of the energy company LEAG. The company operates ten pellet plants across Germany, Sweden, and Latvia, manufacturing ENplus-certified fuels for private households, municipalities, trade, and industrial customers [1][2][3][4]. LEAG Pellets GmbH was formed in 2024 through the merger of multiple pellet companies acquired by LEAG between 2022 and 2023, including HPS, Propell, and Wismar Pellets [4][5]. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of LEAG Biomass, which operates under the parent company LEAG, a member of the EPH Group [5]. The company recently launched trial production of "Rekord" branded wood briquettes and is developing a "Blend" product—a mix of wood and coal dust designed to reduce industrial carbon footprints by 30 percent [6]. LEAG is currently the second-largest pellet producer in Europe [6].
