## Summary

The New Yorker is an Art Deco landmark in Midtown Manhattan that functions as a hotel, offering guestrooms, meeting and banqueting space, and on-site dining options like the Tick Tock Diner [1][2]. It caters to business and leisure travelers, as well as groups hosting corporate and social functions [3][4]. The building is owned by the Unification Church, which purchased it in 1976 [2][5]. In 2025, the hotel joined Lotte Hotels [6]. Yellowstone Real Estate Investments purchased the hotel’s $106 million loan in 2023 [7]. Legal issues recently involved a fraudulent ownership claim by a guest, which resulted in criminal charges [2].
