## Summary

Murphy Brothers Contracting, Inc. is a family-owned, award-winning general contractor providing construction and project management services for luxury residential and commercial projects [1][2][3]. Based in Mamaroneck, New York, the firm serves clients across Westchester County, the lower Hudson Valley, and Fairfield County, Connecticut [1][2]. Founded in 1979 by brothers Chris and Sean Murphy, the company offers custom home building, renovations, high-performance construction, and millwork [2][3][4]. Their commercial portfolio includes private clubs, multifamily buildings, and office interiors [1][2]. As a private, family-operated business, it does not rely on external venture or private equity investment [1][2]. The firm collaborates with local architects and designers rather than competing against them [5]. While it operates in the construction industry, it does not maintain a formal list of competitors, instead positioning itself through long-standing relationships with subcontractors and suppliers [6]. In February 2025, the company broke ground on a $6.5 million expansion of its self-storage facility in Mamaroneck, which will also house the firm's new headquarters [7].
