## Summary

Hotel Healdsburg is a luxury boutique hotel and hospitality property located on the historic town plaza in Healdsburg, California [1][2]. It sells high-end lodging, spa services, and fine dining experiences—primarily through its on-site restaurant, Dry Creek Kitchen—to travelers and tourists visiting Sonoma County wine country [3][1][2][4]. The hotel was founded in 2001 by the late developer Merritt Sher and his daughter, Circe Sher, under their company Piazza Hospitality [5][4]. The project was largely self-financed by the family after encountering difficulty securing traditional bank loans [5][4]. Its primary competitors are other upscale accommodations and culinary destinations within the growing Healdsburg hospitality market [5][4]. This milestone follows the January 2025 retirement of its longtime general manager, Abdel "Aziz" Zhari [6].
